Professional concept design, styling, hair & make-up
Yasmin Vargas is a creative costume designer, stylist, hair-, wig-, makeup- and special effects artist, working freelance since 2014. She has a makeup studio in Helsingør, Denmark, and works at The Royal Danish Theater.
Costume design and styling concepts for film, theater, performances, events, commercial and editorial photoshoots, as well as makeup and styling for weddings, bachelorette parties, prom, and other celebrations.
Always creative, constantly challenging her own ideas, she pursues the original and provocative, and enjoys experimenting and bending the rules of "what is normal". She can make wonders with her makeup brushes and will always appreciate a new challenge, if you have a specific idea you want to bring to live.
With a broad service catalog, one of her specialties is vintage and pinup styling, and characters from specific historical periods. She has been at VEGA and different vintage events, styling hair in the original style from the 1920's, 1940's, 1950's and more.
She also has a passion for characterization and dark scenaries, and has made zombies for HBO Nordic, and special effects makeup for different film, campaigns, commercials and events.
